My 12th PageHabit Unboxing!

Hello there! Some of you may know that I subscribed PageHabit for a year now. Hooray! To celebrate my happiness of being a crazy PageHabit fan for 12 months, I told myself that it would be great to do an unboxing on this blog for the first time and here we are. I posted my first PageHabit box on Instagram last July 2017. In that time I was so excited to receive a book box. I was thrilled, couldn't wait any longer to open the box. I still remembered the feeling after I opened it and found out what was inside. Of course, there were a hardback with annotations and a letter from the author, a bookmark, a short story, and other bookish items. You may be curious why I am such a big fan of PageHabit but didn't post about it that much. Well... we all have busy schedules, socialise, and a thousand things to do in a day, so I posted the first PageHabit box and participated in PageHabit community sometimes like a movie night. I really enjoy it though. Even though I didn't post anything much about it but this is another way to show how much I love PageHabit and I think it is wonderful to rewrite my PageHabit journey from the release day until PageHabit turns 1 year.

To be honest, PageHabit is my first book box subscription ever. But before that, I had heard about Quarterly offered two amazing book box subscriptions on their website, and one of my favourite booktuber, Dana from TheBookHoarder, who love Quarterly Literary YA keep talking about these boxes throughout the year. I wanted to order one. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford them due to my country destination is far away from the USA. We all know that the shipping cost will be high too and that was the reason I didn't order any of them. Months gone by Dana told her audiences that Quarterly Literary YA box she loved, had come to an end. สวัสดีค่ะ บางคนอาจจะทราบแล้วว่าเราเป็นสมาชิก PageHabit มาหนึ่งปีแล้ว ไซโย! และแล้วเราก็มาฉลองความสุขกันหน่อยดีกว่า ไหนๆ ก็เป็นสมาชิกมา 12 เดือนแล้วนี่ เราเลยบอกกับตัวเองว่าเขียนบล็อกแกะกล่องหน่อยก็ไม่เลวนะ นับว่าเป็นครั้งแรกเลยละที่เขียนแกะกล่อง PageHabit ถ้าย้อนกลับไปอดีตสักหน่อยก็จะเห็นว่าเราโพสกล่อง PageHabit กล่องแรกบน Instagram เมื่อเดือนกรกฎาคม ปี 2017 นู้นเลยทีเดียว ในตอนนั้นเราดีใจมาก เพราะมันเป็นครั้งแรกที่เราได้กล่องหนังสือที่สมัครเอาไว้ เขาเรียกกันว่า Book box subscription เพื่อนๆ ลองค้นหาดูได้นะ ตอนนั้นมันตื้นเต้นมากจนรอเปิดกล่องแทบไม่ไหว เรายังจำความรู้สึกนั้นได้ดีเลยล่ะนะ ไอความรู้สึกตอนที่เปิดกล่องออกมาแล้วเจอสิ่งที่อยู่ด้านใน มันเป็นอะไรที่ดีสุดๆ ไปเลยและแน่นอนว่า ในกล่องนั้นมีหนังสือปกแข็งหนึ่งเล่มที่มีคำอธิบายประกอบจากนักเขียนและจดหมายอีกด้วย และก็ยังมีที่คั่นหนังสือ หนังสือเรื่องสั้นให้อ่านด้วย นองจากนั้นก็จะมีของน่ารักๆ สำหรับหนอนหนังสือให้ด้วย แน่นอนว่าใช้ได้จริงจากประสบการณ์เราเอง เพื่อน ๆ อาจจะสงสัยว่าเป็นแฟนคลับตังยงของ PageHabit แต่ทำไมไม่ค่อยโพสหรือพูดถึงเลยล่ะ ก็บางทีตารางงานมันยุ่งนี่น่า ไหนต้องพบปะคุยกันเพื่อนๆ และสิ่งที่อยากทำอีกตั้งเยอะแยะมากมายในวันนึง ดังนั้นเราเลยโพสแค่ PageHabit กล่องแรกกล่องเดียวและที่เหลือก็ไปมีส่วนร่วมในชุมชน PageHabit แทนอย่าง Movie Night งี้ สนุกมากเลย เราชอบงานนี้ ถึงจะไม่ค่อยมีเวลาตรงกันสักเท่าไหร่ก็เถอะนะ และนี้ก็ถือว่าเป็นโอกาสที่ดีที่จะบล็อกเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางมาพบกับ PageHabit ในแบบฉบับเราตั้งแต่วันที่ประกาสเปิดตัวครั้งแรกของ PageHabit จนกระทั้งครบรอบ 1 ปี กันไปเลย

ที่จริงแล้ว PageHabit เป็นกล่องแรกเลยที่เราสมัครสมาชิก แต่ก่อนหน้านั้นเราเคยได้ยินเกี่ยวกับ Quarterly ที่มีให้สมัครรับกล่องหนังสืออยู่สองเจ้าด้วยกันและหนึ่งใน Booktuber คนโปรดของเราคือ Dana จาก TheBookHoarder ได้พูดคุยเกี่ยวกับกล่องหนังสือที่ได้รับจาก Quarterly ว่ามันดีมากและตอนนี้เรารู้แล้วว่าทำไมเธอถึงชอบมันนัก เราเองก็อยากสมัครบ้าง แต่เพราะระยะทางบ้านเรากับอเมริกามันไกลเกินไป เพื่อนๆ ที่ซื้อของจากต่างประเทศบ่อยๆ คงจะรู้ว่าค่าขนส่งมาไทยมันค่อยข้างสูงเลยทีเดียวและนั้นเป็นเหตุผลหลักที่เราไม่ได้สมัครในตอนนั้น หลังจากที่ Dana บอกว่ากล่องที่เธอรับเป็นประจำได้ปิดตัวแล้ว เราเองก็เศร้าใจเหมือนกัน เพราะยังไม่มีโอกาสได้ลองเลย แต่ก็เศร้าได้ไม่นานนักหรอก เพราะหลังจากนั้นไม่นานก็มีการประกาศตัวเปิด PageHabit ขึ้น ไม่ต้องคิดอะไรมากเลยตอนที่รู้ข่าวคลิกเข้าเว็ปไซต์ PageHabit อย่างเดียว เราใช้เวลาพักนึงก็ตัดสินใจสมัครรับกล่องหนังสือจาก PageHabit เลย รอบนี้ไม่คิดเยอะแล้ว คือมันดีมากแล้วไม่ได้มีแค่แนวเดียวให้อ่านเหมือนเจ้าอื่นแต่ที่นี้เพื่อน ๆ เลือกแนวที่อยากอ่านได้ด้วย เซงสุดๆ ไปเลย เพราะส่วนตัวแล้วเราชอบอ่านแฟนตาซีมาก YA ก็ชอบเหมือนกันนะ แต่สุดท้ายก็เลยสมัครรับกล่องหนังสือแฟนตาซีนี่แหละ ถ้าลองนับๆ ดูแล้วก็จะมีทั้งหมดประมาณ 13 เล่มพอดี รวม 1 เล่มจากกล่อง YA
